Some of those drops were later said to be the fault of Crompton. One of those passes to Han**** was supposed to be a quick hitter, one receiver route, where the other receivers start to block (kind of a screen but not an actual screen). That's the one that bounced off of Han****'s face.

A good WR catches the ball when it thrown to him regardless of where it's supposed to be going or what the play call is. IMO, if a receiver is thrown to and he has a reasonable chance to catch it (especially if he isn't hit immediately) he should catch it. So, I don't care what excuses were made, Han**** should have reeled in those passes.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

The one Han**** dropped on the wheel to the sidelines was terrible. The rocket from 4 yards away to the facemask was a little tougher to handle. The sidelines one was just terrible though.

Catching either one wouldn't have killed the drive...dropping both did tho.

The wheel route was like 2 plays later. It looked like a play around here.

I was watching the game...and after that play I was convinced that Han**** was Auburn's best player that series. Even said so..lol I really believe Crompton could become a decent backup in the NFL tho.

He sure didn't help UT out that night.

Crompton has the ability, if someone can just help him keep his head clear he could be okay. Not great, just okay. Last year coming out of Jets preseason they all said that Ainge looked the best, but said they had too much invested in Sanchez, and liked the Clemoes experience.
